Yosemite valley does not have many large animals – just deer and bear (and humans, of course). Fortunately, the bear were absent during our visit, but the deer were plentiful.

They were also quite cooperative for photos. I think I could have shot them all day. They were so beautiful in the meadows and amidst the light filtering through the trees.
